On this week’s podcast, Scott and I reveal how using a support system helps us achieve our financial and physical goals.

Too often, we are all alone in our endeavors, but when you can work with a group of people, you have a lot more fun and success.

For Scott’s support system, please visit Fit Chic Fat Loss.

For Bob’s support system, please visit Bob The Teacher’s Tribe.

Enjoy!

This week’s Fit Money Makers podcast is for anyone who thinks losing weight or getting into better shape is a necessary evil.

Instead of looking at this process as a nagging chore – a challenging one that requires discipline and new habits – what if you could look at it instead as a chance to make some serious money?

The Every Other Day Diet Plan Journey

A few weeks ago I was reading Angie Tousignant’s blog.  She and Scott had been documenting their journey with a nutrition guide called the Every Other Day Diet Plan.

Of course the title caught my attention right away. My girlfriend and I have had trouble sticking to any particular weight-loss program because they usually require more discipline than we are able to stick to. Joanna has tried pretty much everything: Nutrisystem, South Beach,  no-carb, whatever…

Since I know Scott so well, I called him up on the phone and asked him more about it. Angie’s videos and photos on Fit Chic Fat Loss have shown progress.

That was about 6 weeks ago.  Since then, Joanna’s down 10 pounds and I’ve gone from 20% to 17% body fat (I’m really focusing on body fat % instead of pounds as I’m doing more weight training as well), but more importantly we’ve been able to stick to it because of it’s realistic approach to good eating.

I’ll be updating our progress here as we go, but I just wanted to let you know about it, too. Thanks to Scott and Angie’s recommendation, Joanna and I are feeling a lot better about what we eat, and looking forward to hitting our goals (Joanna’s target is 10 more pounds, mine is down to 12% bodyfat).

See if the Every Other Day Diet Plan could fit your lifestyle, too.

p.s. Do you have a frustration with a previous diet you’ve tried?  Tell Scott and me about it with a comment below.  And of course, if you are already a fan of Jon Benson, please let us know your results.
